Group Contributions

Whitney Negrete:
I was responsible for researching the Iraq weapon’s program as well as the information about aluminum tubes and the CIA conference. I also found the video of the State of the Union Address that was posted on the blog. I was the one to create and update the blog. I reserved a room in the library for two of our meetings. I was also the one to create the Google doc that our group used to edit the information on our blog. Lastly I created the sources page including the sources that everyone used.

Abby:
I pulled all the videos off of the DVD and converted them into a format that would be compatible to be put on our blog. I helped Whitney embed a few of those videos to the blog. I researched the director. I read parts of Valerie Plame's biography to add insight to the project as a whole. I wrote up a couple of the ideologies, as well as a couple of the major similarities and differences. I scheduled one room for our meetings. I watched the documentary of Fair Game and added most of the direct quotations from Valerie and Joe regarding Fair Game.

Justin Salas:
I was responsible for researching the difference between how Joe Wilson was portrayed in the movie and how he was in real life. I also did the anarchy of Africa Ideology I also did the 2 of the major differences, the press secretary scene and the time between Joe’s op-ed piece and Valerie’s name being released. I also played a role in our team movie we made. I wrote up the timeline of events. I also wrote up the framing theory and helped to do the conclusion. I also reserved a room for one of the meetings we had.

Mallory Henderson:
I analyzed the love story between Valerie and Joe and looked into specific scenes to see what was portrayed and how it was framed. I also analyzed Valerie’s character and contrasted that to her real family and work life. I also filmed, compiled, and edited our trailer for “Fair Game.”

Jeff Gudmunson:

I researched the story behind Lewis “Scooter” Libby; both the true story and that portrayed in Fair Game, by watching the film (with commentary), and seeking information from articles. I also contributed to the media theories section, writing about Joseph Wilson’s role as a father. I contributed in group meetings, the group video, and helped edit the blog.
